The Founder's Story

Two founders who saw pickleball's billion-dollar gap — and needed the tech to fill it.

Jude and Dan had been deep in the pickleball world for years. They watched the sport explode from niche hobby to 36M+ players — yet the technology around it was stuck in 2010. No play-to-earn. No AI coaching. No community platform worth using. They had the vision and the sports industry network. What they needed was a world-class technical partner to build something that had never existed before.

The fastest-growing sport in America had the worst tech.

The Market Reality

36M players, zero innovation

Pickleball grew 223% in three years. Yet the tech ecosystem was still paper scorecards, disconnected court finders, and generic fitness apps. No platform connected play, community, coaching, and rewards into one experience.

The Founder's Frustration

"We know what players need — we just can't build it."

Jude and Dan had the sports network, the brand ambassadors, even an NBA Hall of Famer on board. But building a mobile app with blockchain tokenomics, AI coaching clones, and real-time scoring requires engineering depth that no freelancer or agency could deliver.

The Deeper Truth

A sport this big deserves technology that matches its energy.

Players were already organizing, competing, and spending money. The opportunity wasn't creating demand — it was capturing demand that already existed with a platform built for how the modern sports community actually behaves.

The Root Cause Traditional dev shops don't understand Web3, AI, and mobile simultaneously. Building a SportsFi platform requires all three — plus the security to handle real money and real user data.

BRNZ built the entire stack. PickleZone built the movement.

Why This Project
"PickleZone wasn't a weekend MVP. It was a full platform play — mobile apps, blockchain infrastructure, AI coaching, tokenomics, e-commerce. The kind of build that breaks most dev teams. We spent two years engineering every layer because this was about building a company, not shipping a prototype."

01

Founders brought the network

Deep sports industry connections — Scott Moore, Rick Barry (NBA Hall of Famer), court operators, pickleball ambassadors, and a community of early adopters ready to test and play.

02

BRNZ engineered the platform

Two years of continuous development: mobile apps, blockchain tokenomics, AI coaching, Telegram game, e-commerce, security — all built as one integrated system by the ODIN agent swarm.

03

The platform went live

iOS and Android apps launched. Tap game live on Telegram. E-commerce running. AI coaching available 24/7. PZN token economy active. PickleZone became the most complete pickleball platform in the market.

$1.5M+

Traditional dev cost

Building mobile apps, blockchain, AI, and e-commerce with separate agencies or in-house teams — with no guarantee the pieces would integrate.

3–4 yr

Multi-vendor timeline

Coordinating separate teams for mobile, Web3, AI, and security. Each vendor on a different timeline, different stack, different sprint cycle. Integration hell.

Platforms like this exist

Nobody had built a SportsFi play-to-earn platform for pickleball before. No template. No playbook. BRNZ built it from first principles across every layer of the stack.

From two founders and an idea to a live multi-product platform.
